Milo - your playing on all the instruments is better than world-class!

The recording quality of your music is fantastic as well - so clear & bright and nicely balanced.

How about sharing some recording secrets with us? Or at least tell us what your setup is.

I do appreciate the kind words and thanks for visiting the website!!
Gerald, to be honest, I just place the mic about a foot away from the sweet spot on each instrument and record. I don't use much EQ or effects. I try to get as natural a sound as I can. I'm playing a Gibson Original Hound Dog Dobro, a Collings M1 mandolin, a Martin HD 28 acoustic and a 'no name' fiddle. I use just a couple of mics...Audio Technica 4033 and AKG 414.
I enjoyed looking at your website very much as well.

thanks,
Milo

Fantastic music and is going to make a great gift for someone I know who sort of collects albums of Christmas music. He also records his own material and plays all the instruments. Can't wait until he hears this!
Thanks!

Milo, I tried again a few minutes later and everything went through no problem, so I edited that out.
Christmas cheers!
