That be the question, pertaining to one of the great Hawaiian singers.
The subject came up yesterday betwix a couple of music lovers, whether or not Danny played steel, and if he recorded any of his steel work.
I'd not heard before that he played, and am not convinced yet that he did, but if anyone has proof one way or another, it would be appreciated. |

Ron,
I tried enlarging them, but the photo ending up getting too grainy.
If I'm not mistaken, that's a young Gabby Pahinui on steel in the last photo with Andy Cummings on the far right. |

| That picture is also printed in the cd booklet with the Cord Andy Cummings and His Hawaiian Serenaders compilation. The steeler is identified there as Gabby. |
