AVI to NTSC video

Post by Bill Ford »

Is there a decent freeware/shareware program that works? I purchased a camcorder that will record 30 minutes of video, but is AVI. It plays good downloaded to my computer, and wired direct to tv set, but I want to make a dvd to play my compositions.

Thanks...Bill

I found a Video card at walmart that has outputs for 2 monitors and S video output also. I connected this to my CD/VHS recorder along with the audio from the sound card. I play the U Tube video and record it on the VHS tape 1st because it can be put on pause while getting another video. When done just copy the VHS to the DVD. It works pretty good. I could not find a program that would convert the U Tube video format to something that could be recorded on the computer hard drive that could then be put on a computer DVD. Perhaps someone else has a better way to do this.
