I've never used this software until I downloaded a demo yesterday. What fun!
I'm thinking I will just order the megapak with the 23 add ons. You can get the megapak cheaper from sources other than PG, but it looks like the add ons you can get for $25 make it worth the extra money.
I've been reading about the sound sources and I guess I'm pretty lucky. I've already got a Roland XV2020 and a Roland XP10. I also have sonar producer 4 which has a few soft synths.
Just messing around with the demo and using my soundblaster live card, it sounded pretty good.

It is a great program and the price is very reasonable considering what it will do.
What it will do is also a drawback as it's so versitile it can (is for me) be complicated. I probably only use 1/10 of it's capabilities. |

Steve:
Get with Big Jim Baron, a steel picker, forum member, and a BIAB dealer. He can help you with the right combo for your particular need. I'd recommend getting his "4100+" CD, also. It has over 4100 BIAB ready songs on it from country, jazz, rock, and blues.
His email is bigjim4b@sbcglobal.net

I've sent emails to this guy several time for info and a price on the cd and never once got an answer, so it's kinda hard to do business that way.

I have only been doing this for a few days. I have discovered thousands of totally free BIAB files on multiple forums and websites. It really is surprising the number of free biab files out there.
