I was on a tour bus this summer that provided us with internet service while rolling down the road.
The driver said that it worked as long as we were in range of a cell tower. (just like a cell phone)
It worked most of the time and very well.
Does anyone know what this technology is and who provides it.

There are several providers for that. AT&T wireless, Verizon, T-Mobile, Ipass, Stayonline Inc. and several others are available. Most of them cost about 50 or 60 bucks a month and some give a certain amount of free air time to use them. My brother even has it on his cell phone so he can surf the net anywhere he has cell phone service. It started out pretty expensive, like most stuff along those lines, but its pretty affordable now....Here is a site you can do some shopping on....James
