Is anyone here making web sites with CityDesk? It looks pretty slick.

If I'm reading it correctly, it's Windows only, though. Freeway seems to be even more slick, as easy to use, and works on a Mac. (Though I don't know anyone personally who has tried it.)

Is Dreamweaver the only one that's dual-platform?

There are a couple of pretty weak-looking off-the-shelf programs I've seen at CompUSA but I can't come up with any of their names at the moment. Surely there are other good ones out there as well but I haven't run across them.

I don't use CityDesk but I'm familiar with Joel's work and he makes excellent products.

This is a CMS and the main benefit is that it runs client side, rather than being server-based. Seems a bit pricey. Check out some of the server-based products (a few are open source) for comparison.

Dreamweaver is not a CMS, although it can perform some of the same functions using templates and the site management features. Much more tedious, though. The best product for your needs really depends on the size of the site(s) you want to manage, the number of authors, and how frequently content changes.
