lets say i have 10 song files in my library that i want to delete, and send to my recycle bin..if i delete them one by one..i end up with the 10 i started with..but if i click on the first file..then shift..then click on the 10th file...and hit delete, when i go to the recycle bin..i have less then 10 files there? and what happen to the others?

If you selected them correctly you will have the 10 files in the recycle bin. When you "shift Click", count the highlighted files. Then delete them and check the recycle bin. Works every time for me, with Windows XP. |

If you are still holding down the shift key, when you hit the delete key, then you'll bypass the recycling bin and directly delete the files. Note the different dialog box that appears when a file is deleted via the shift-delete key combination vs just the delete key. |
