Dude, I would sure like, like, Linux or a Mac, but I can't get the old lady off the puter...
We have 128 meg of RAM, and even tho I keep it cleaned out, it bogs, gets 'page not found'--does this sound like a good reason to get another 128 meg? Or should I just, like, clean the Dr. Pepper out of the cpu?

A "page not found" on the Internet is not a memory problem, although 128 is not much for some Operating Systems.
A page not found says the link you clicked on to access a site or a page on that site is either invalid or there is a problem with the page on the server or an Internet communictions link. Sometimes security software such as a firewall, pop up blocker, etc can also cause the page not found error. With this problem, Linux or a Mac wouldn't fix anything - you'd have the same problem (maybe a different error notice but the same problem). |

Memory is cheap but it will not fix the page not found error. But more memory will certainly make you computer run better - IF you get the right kind. Consult your motherboard book for details.
