To send audio (or any other) files via email, you can't simply attach the files and send?

I'm not clear why a separate program would be a requirement to do that.

audio files on a computer are usually a wav file (therefore much too large to e-mail) You may have been using MusicMatch Jukebox to turn your wav files into the much smaller MP3s?

There are lots of MP3 conversion programs around. www.zdnet.com download section has several.

You need to compress them to mp3 as most ISP's have a limit on how big the attachment can be to an e-mail. An MP3 is about 1 meg per minute of music. A wav is approx 10 meg per minute.

Since the original question referred to "audio tracks", we have no way to know exactly *what* type of files we're dealing with here. They could just as plausibly be BIAB tracks, which aren't "audio" at all. Who knows at this point?

At any rate, had the question asked how to convert from one audio file format to another, my reponse would have been very different.

Perhaps a more precisely worded question would elicit a meaningful answer.
