BIAB creating endings

Post by Michael Garnett »

Dear Abby:

I just got BIAB installed, and am working out some kinks. I'm figuring out how to put stuff in there, but I can't figure out how to work the first and second endings.

"Some Day" is the title of it (I think?), key of E, Chords go in the neighborhood of this:

Intro:
A A- E C#-
F# B (E Fdim)(F#- B7)

| |: E Edim F#- B7
E E7 (A C#7) F*-
B7 B7 E C#-
F# F# F#- B7

E Edim F#- B7
E E7 (A C#7) F#-
A A- E C#-
F# B (E Fdim)(F#- B7) :| |

But for the tag, it goes:

A A- E C#-
F# B7 G#- C#7
F#7 B7 E

How do I make BIAB understand that I want two different endings?

Por Favor, El Deleto above-o post-o if you wann-o, I figured it out. You just gotta tell the computer you don't want it to make any endings, and just tag everything. I'll figure out endings later, but that definitely was easier than writing out every single chord on the chart.

Some times the easiest way is to expand to one long chorus, then just type in the chords where you want them.
