Web-hosting sites for photos

Post by Derrick Mau »

I just signed up for a web-hosting site called "angelfire" so I could post photo's onto the Forum, but members said all they see is the (angelfire) icon. Bobby Lee said that certain sites uses that for adverising purposes. Is there any way to shut this icon off so the photo can be seen along with my written text? It's funny, because when I go to view my thread, the photo can be seen on my computer.

Use www.imageshack.us You can upload images and copy the code. The image will automatically be scaled down for people with slow connections too. If you click on the image it will enlarge. Use the code for forums 1 and it will appear like this: Image <FONT SIZE=1 COLOR="#8e236b"><p align=CENTER>[This message was edited by Fred Murphy on 04 March 2005 at 08:10 PM.]</p></FONT>

This one allows you a 25mb space and up to 1500mb bandwith.
Most of the time these other hosts don't give you the change to post big images.
Photobucket does though.
Imageshack gives you small images.

I would say....go with photobucket
