Hi, I have a laptop, that I use for BIAB, and it sounds pretty good, but I would like a better sound.
Has anyone tried a pcmcia sound blaster audigy card in a laptop ? Or any ideas ?

Thank
Wayne

Wayne,
With my laptop, when I'm using BIAB I use 'Roland Virtual Sound Canvas' to provide the sounds - since most laptop soundchips are generally quite noisy, for extremely clean, 'virtually' noise-less analog output, whether using BIAB, or any other music-software, I like the Echo Indigo Soundcard. They plug in the 'PC Slot' and barely protrude from the laptop, so your laptop stays compact and portable, without any 'extra box' tethered to your laptops USB port.
When recording on laptop I use 'Echo Indigo>IO' PC card, as it has inputs as well as outputs.
The Indigo cards support ASIO, too, so latency is negligable.

Thanks Russ,
I'll check into the Indigo card, I have a Desk Top PC that has a lot better sound than the Lap top, so I think upgrading the card will help.
Thanks
