Oh no! A PC laptop is headed my way

As some of you know, I'm a Mac kinda guy. My Mom picked up the computer habit about a decade ago by buying a Radio Shack notebook computer. She learned how to use the dawggone thing cold, in her 70s! Well, she had an HP laptop she has retired, and is now giving to our 7 year old daughter. It'll be great for learning software and games (it won't be an online computer), but dadgummit, I've now got to become a PC sysadmin to keep the thing running, in addition to my wife's iMac and my G4. I'm glad our daughter will have a computer, but daddy has just picked up a new job with this thing coming into our household.
