How do I turn off that clicking noise each time I manuever from page to page, or click on a hyperlink? I looked under 'Sounds' in the Control Panel, and checked under 'Tools'--'Internet Options', in the Internet Explorer window, but can't seem to find a way to turn it off that annyoing clicking. I have Windows XP Professional.
Thanks for any help!

I use a Microsoft Intellimouse and Norton Systemworks Pro. On my Windows 2000 system, the mouse click sound shows up under Control Panel-Sounds and Multimedia Properties-Sounds as "Symantec Integrater: Mouse Click". I suspect on your system it would just be "Mouse Click", but you should be able to find it in that section, as that's where all the system sounds are defined. |

Maybe this is it, maybe not---in XP Home
Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>
Pull down menu under "sound scheme" and select "no sounds"
