Help! Whenever I play an mp3 on the internet, my Quicktime player does it. I've tried to disassociate it from mp3s, but have had no luck. What I don't like about Quicktime is that it opens a new page and I can't surf while listening. Is there any solution without removing Quicktime? Thanks.

Open the QT player and click on Edit. Select Preferences then QuickTime Preferences. It should bring up the QuickTime Settings box. On it click MIME Settings. There you can pick what file type is played by the QuickTime player.
Good luck!
