Hi Winston. I haven't heard from you in a while.

Any CD Burner should work just fine.
i have a Panasonic, and am running Adaptec program. I also have a Nero Program, but I like the Adaptec better. Less work.
I quess I would suggest that it be a CD-R-RW, and at least 4X, BY 8X, BY 32X.

Bon Chance

When I copy the CD I want the words to show up on a tv screen along with playing the music, just like the regular karoke CD.

Adaptec has CD Copier and I'm sure other burning programs have the same thing. It makes a perfect copy of the CD, no matter what is on it.

Ain't this kinda akin to "ripoff" of a material for sell ?

I have friends that will more than willingly supply me with their cassettes/CD's for my personal use (burn a copy) but I feel that I should purchase my own copies if I really want it. Am I too nieve in this matter ?

Yes, I have used "Napster" to get a song or two, but not the avarage/standard stuff. Abstract material only. I generally go over to a friends house to access the "Napster" website as I don't have a link to it.

I use CD copier to make myself a copy so I don't have to worry about scratching the originals or worry about them getting stolen from my van.

I've never used Napster 'cause the idea just doesn't rub me right as a musician, plus I don't like the idea of opening up my computer to the world.
