I own and use a Digitech RP300A and a Lexicon MX200. Seems like both have always missed something for me. I recently heard a friend playing thru an old Boss RV-3 (I think) and he got what I am looking for in DigiDelay and Reverb sound. I don't record or play professionally but I do play for Senior Citizen dances weekly. I like to crank it up and not lose my tone by adding the FX I want to use.Can some of you picker's enlighten me on the newer Boss GT-6 and GT-8. Do they have that same sound the RV-3 has but with additional FX also? I really would like some feedback from anyone who has tried all or any these units and what they feel is the best sounding and user friendly.... Thank's so much...

I have a Lexicon effects unit in my rack. It is an MPX 200, the model before the MX200. I think it is a very good unit. You should be able to get a good delay and reverb sound out of the Lexicon. They are noted for their excellent reverbs.
