Anyone got any pictures of the Emmons-type pedal attachment hardware? If I'm not mistaken, there are two types--the drop pin and the other. Is the pedal-bar side of the hardware something that can be retro-fitted to a standard pedal rack? If I had some visuals I could probably answer my own question but I don't have a clear mental image of how either of the attachment methods work.

I believe you can buy those parts( x2 tabs of aluminum)from Ron, but you probably need to drill holes and tap them for attachment.

I have both drop-pin and the other type for my Emmons. You are welcome to come take a look at them if you like.

Jon,

Yes, you can buy the tabs from Emmons. They each have two threaded holes in them. You would need to drill and countersink four through holes in the bottom of the pedal bar for the oval head phillips screws (also available) and one 5/16" through hole on the top of the pedal bar for the pin on the later style volume pedal. I once retro-fitted a Zum Steel for an Emmons pedal. If you choose to use the drop-pin style, you'll also need another small L shaped bracket with a hole for the drop-pin that's mounted against the inside of the front of the pedal bar. I'd go with the later style because it's a little simpler, unless you already have the older style pedal.
