Topic: Nashville 400 Loud "Pop" |

My Nashville 400 has a loud "pop" when turned on at the power strip. The off/on switch on the amp is still in the "off" position. When the amp is turned on at the switch it seems normal.
I have replaced the amp switch.

That is "normal" on that amp. It's because of the solid state power supply and the "instant" voltage to the amp.
It's been discussed several times before and even responded to by Mike Brown. It won't hurt the amp. |

This "pop" thing is something that developed over time. I didn't have it when the amp was new.

my nashville 400 has this also
when i turn it on there is a loud pop and then when i turn on the power strip that i have my hilton volume pedal pluged into it sounds like the crack of a 22 rifle
it an attenion getter for sure

| Calvin...if you will turn everything else on(Hilton, effects, etc.) BEFORE you turn your 400 on, it should help that situation. |
