will running electronic drums through my nashville 400 hurt the speaker ? it will be used for the drummers monitor and run from the amp to a mixing board.i wasn't sure if the bass drum would be too much or not he just wants to use it for a couple of nights till he get's a regular bass amp.

I'd say that if the band is loud enough to require a drum monitor with the kick drum in it, it'd be way too loud to safely run said kick drum through an open-back speaker cabinet. The kick's transients cause way more cone excursion than the steel guitar does, and the open back provides none of the cone damping that a closed back does.
