Brain, Makin Music up in Frederick, Md has done ME right. Call the tech there if you decide to use them and get the dilly-0. Ask the usual 20 questions. They've done multiple repairs for me, I can't complain. http://www.makenmusicmd.com/mnm/_live/default.asp

Is there a ProTech in Bethesda? I know of one in Wheaton that I'm not too fond of.

You can't do much better than Vintage Vacuum Tube Amps in Waldorf for tube amps. They're at 2580 B Old Washington Road, Waldorf, MD 20601 (301) 396-4100. www.vvtamps.com No financial interests, etc., they just do good work.

I carried a Fender Twin of mine to a place on Central Avenue just off 95. I believe it was called Central Avenue Electronics but would have to check on it for you. They did a great job. If you want I'll find their number and address.
