So there I was playing along Sunday night when I decided I was hearing too much steel and not enough band. I get up to scoot my PX 300 a little ways and poof it turns off and doesn't come back. (ok???) so I think must have blown a fuse but their is no fuse line in the back. So here's the HELP part. Does the PX 300 HAve an internal fuse line or something? Is it something I can fix or should I take to my local Peavey guys. Any help appreciated.

| I'm not sure about this unit, but many of the later Peavey amps have a computer type plug in power cord, that plugs into the amp chassis. If the cable is not fully plugged in it can cause what you are seeing. |

When I first bought a Nashville 1000, I also bought a PX~300. Within a week of playing only at home in the house, my PX~300 also quit, for no apparent reason! So, I didn't even bother trying to find the cause! I just returned the PX~300 and bought another N~1000!

| Scott, I have a PX 300 and it did the same thing. I was playing it one night on a gig, heard a little pop and that was all she wrote. I had been gigging with it for about a year before this happened. Peavey's have a 5 year warranty and I just shipped the head back and let them take care of it. It's hard for me to say what the problem was but I suspect an internal connection that loosened due the vibration of the cabinet.
