It don't say what amp their using,(probly a fender tube) but this is the tone I'd like to get with my Nashville 112 with the pod xt.

BTW- This is the Teneseean amp model I think. They didn't have a Fender twin, or Black face model as samples.
I'd be happy with this tone though.

The "Brad Paisley" program, with the compressor removed, will give you that tone, plus about anything else. With just the neck pickup it has a nice mellow sound, with just the bridge pickup it has the Tele twang, etc.

To my old ears that's tone is very close to the old Carl Perkins Sun Records 50's tone very twangy and just right for that kind of country music very nice. I wouldn't mind adding a Pod XT to my studio arsenal just to play with. I know I already have enough toys but I love to tweak them :-)

Thanks for the info Jack and Bob, I really like that little bit of fret buzz, I may have to order another pod. I had the pod xt but found it was a little over my head as far as figuring out how to use it, so I sent it back and orderd the 2.0, which had the same amp models but I never could get rid of the noisy buzz! So I sent it back also.
I wish now I had kept the podxt. I think I understand how to use it a little better now.
