Here's a list of vendors: http://www.kelvin.com/
Search for "audio taper potentiometer"

Search for CA5041

Donny Hinson - You are entitled to your opinion, however, I put an Ohmite pot in my pedal more than a year ago and to date there is no snap, crackle, and pop.

Robert, I checked the links you provided. Newark Electronics is the only one that carries the right pot (1/2 meg, 2 watt, audio taper, type J) for volume pedals. One of the main reasons people have problems is they install the wrong pot. The pots you can buy for $3 or $4 are simply cheap pots, and not meant for use in a steel volume pedal.

Edit (for Robert): if you use the cheaper pots, and they work for you, that's great! However, many players want the original-type pot, and several times, people have brought me pedals to fix and they had the wrong pot in them. I've had very good luck repairing (cleaning and re-lubing) bad pots, but I can't "repair" a wrong pot...it must be replaced.
