I am trying to use this as a lap steel guitar amp. It works fine until I make an aggressive pick attack & then the speaker stops producing sound. If I switch it off & then back on, it then behaves fine until another aggressive pick attack occurs. Any thoughts?

As a PA, it feedbacks at volume level 3.
