I was wondering if there is a way to run the signal from the Steel King to a small mixer that I could also run rhythm tracks through and listen to on headphones. I wouldn't want it to come through the amp speaker.
Anyone done this yet?
Thanks,

I use a Tascam CDGT Guitar Trainer, it
lets you slow down any CD without
changing the pitch. It has a good
output volume for practicing. If
course you don't even need the SK
for this.

I looked at Rick Alexander's review: http://rickalexander.com/BigSteel/FSKReview.html
You have a line out on the back ("TUNER") with a choice of pre and post EQ that shound feed a mixer well. If turning the master all the way down still doesn't shut off all the signal to the speaker (the preamp on some amps will drive a speaker faintly) you can put an empty plug into the "FX RETURN" jack. The "FX SEND" is also putting out a line-level signal that could feed a mixer. |
