Which of these two tuners is better?
Also, there is a Sabine Rack mount tuner on
the Forum for sale. Know anything about it?

The DTR-1 is the one to get....it has 3 tuning modes...cents,hertz,and strobe. The DTR-2 tunes only in cents and is ideal for those who tune all strings to 440....like a guitar or bass player.Of course ....this is my opinion based on my own experiences.

Mike is right,Jim. The DTR-1 is a good tuner or I wouldn't have 2 of them. They are hard to find these days. I think the DTR-2000 is the new model which is similar to the DTR-1.

I had a DTR2000 and that is really the best option. The DTR1 and 2 are discontinued. According to what I read, at various internet sites and the Korg site, the DTR2000 fixed some problems that the older models had (including causing ground loop hum in a rack).

I would still have the DTR2000 but I bought a Peterson VS-II. Other than the VS-II, the Korg DTR 2000 was the most accurate and easiest to tune unit I've had.

The DTR-1 also has a cord checker, which is pretty handy.
