I am considering a sale of my Profex to a European member and have spent about an hour looking at the Harmonized Customs Codes. The best code I can come up with, that appears to cover sound amplifers and equipment, is 8518.50.00 at 4.9% duty. If anybody has knowledge of these things would you let me know if this is the most appropriate code to list on a Customs Form (to Europe)?

Any other tips would be welcome, as long as they pertain to shipping or packaging a Profex and Adapter.

Thanks...

Hi Wiz,
the no. you mentiond is valid from 01.01.2006. The actual one is slightly different. But that might not be a bid deal for the remaining days.

Happy Holidays.

Cheers,
Manfred
