Got my Nashville 1000 Yesterday and I can't get away from it.I like the 2 Nash 400's I have but this in my opinion blows them away.I was looking for a 112 when I happened on this but for a few extra pounds it's well worth it.I'll be looking for a used 112 to keep in the house for practice and get rid of the 400.

Don, thanks so much for purchasing the Nashville 1000 amplifier. In my opinion, the 1000 is "the" cleanest, clearest steel amplifer on the market that faithfully reproduces the wide range that the steel guitar provides.

I think the 1000 is the best also for all around results. Jerry

Time to harvest the Black Walnuts. Think I'll set up out on the deck and rattle them with my 1000 & Px 300 full power!

You may find this useful or interesting:
http://danny.hullihen.tripod.com/id33.htm

It is similar to the Nashville 1000 Owner's manual but, it also has a list of the seeings used by the players at the '99 ISGC.

I must agree with Mike's comments, I have found my Nash 1000 to be ideal for just about any job out there......when I am not using my rack system. And it is a light amp, certainly feels lighter than my old Nash 400 did, but it has the power to be more flexible than the 112's.

I bought my Peavey Nashville 1000 brand new about six years ago. At first I couldn't get it to sound to suit me, but after I learned the right settings. . . .baby look out! I can thank my friend Jack Stoner for that. Here lately I've gone back to using my Nashville 1000 most of the time. I like the clean robust sound it produces. And it cuts through remarkably when I take a lead ride. Once you get it dialed in right, you'll see that it's one of the very best Steel Guitar Amps on the market.

Nick, would you please share those settings with the rest of us? I am about 92 per cent on my way to perfection with my present settings (not the same for LGII and p/p), but 100 would be nice. And anyway, you're supposed to learn at least one new thing every day
