Re fender vibro king reverb

I need help to find out what is the matter with the reverb on my 1993 vibro king. This is the one that uses the EL84 reverb tube. I just got a 1994 fender dual professional and it uses the 6V6 tube . The reverb on it is fantastic. I heard somwhere that there was some mod for that reverb on the early vibro kings . Please does any body know what to do. Thanks In advance Chuck Lawson.
