I took the head out of my recently purchased little Carvin SX100 and it has an IC for the power amp, heat sinked and all but amazingly small, it is a fifteen pin IC and the little thing honks! I'm so used to looking at an array of power transistors and finned heat sinks, does anyone know if this is what the Nashville 112 uses?

The N112 uses a conventional "top and bottom" two transistor output circuit.

Audio (and RF) amps up to 100 watts hve been available in chip form for several years.
