I thought I remembered reading somewhere, probably here on the forum but couldn't find it, that the output volume level needs to be reduced when using the Hilton volume pedal.Anyone have any information on this. thanks Eddie

Any powered device between your guitar and your amplifier creates gain. If I am not mistaken, the Peavey effect unit has an input and output volume control. Turn down the input on the Peavey unit. If you have anything else in line turn that down also. As a last resort, turn the control on the pedal marked "volume" down. Hope this information helps. Keith Hilton

Keith, the Tubefex features an input clip indicator which will allow you to visually set the proper input signal for the Tubefex to work with. The output can also be adjusted globally.
