Hi, I have searched and seen many posts on the Hilton products. I am very interested in purchasing either the powered volume pedal or the digital sustainer and continue to use my Goodrich L120.

I guess what I haven't fully understood yet is does the volume pedal provide all of what the sustainer provides or not?

And it is possible I completely don't understand what I am talking about. I would like to add more sustain to my sound. I have heard people discuss how the digital sustainer also helps with note seperation (???). If I spend the extra money to upgrade to the Hilton pedal, will I find for any reason I will still want the Digital sustainer for sustain? Or will the Hilton pedal provide the sustain for me just like the digital sustainer?

Thanks for any help.

The Hilton pedal has all that stuff in it. You won't need anything else.

Steve, I used the Hilton sustain unit with a Goodrich L-120 and it sounded good. Bought the Hilton volume pedal and have used both together. Even though the sustain unit is built into the pedal you can still tweak your tone a little. I personally don't use the sustain unit anymore as I am really satisfied with my sound without it, but I will never get rid of it just in case I need it for some reason or simply just want to use it. Both are excellent products. IMHO I would get the volume pedal. Hope this helps a little.
