I am thinking of buying a Hilton Pedal to replace my Emmons Pedal. My question is should i get the bracket to mount it to the guitar or use the pedal on the floor. Hope the Forum members can help. Thank Jim

James, I use the Hilton with my Emmons and don't have the bracket. If you are frequently having to move the guitar on and off stage the bracket would be very helpful.
Otherwise I don't think it is a big deal. I think you get the full benefit of a very low profile pedal if it is sitting on the floor. Either way, I am sure you are going to really enjoy the Hilton. It is a great piece of equipment.

James, I have a Hilton with the "standard" bracket and one with the "Emmons" bracket. It works very well and solid and classy looking as well as holding the pedal at the perfect angle. You'll love it.

I use a Hilton with the bracket, but it's for keeping the pedal in the proper position. When moving the guitar, you need to remove the pedal from the rack, since the pedal requires a wall wart and has a power cord.

James. I use the Hilton with a universal bracket and it works really well, keeping the pedal in the right postion. One hint, when you get one, go to Wal-Mart or some hobby shop and get a piece of leather to line the bracket with to minimize scratching the pedal board.

Just use the Emmons style bracket with an Emmons guitar and you wont need to line anything. That's what I'm doing.
