Somebody should go for this.
I recently picked one of these things up in about the same shape for $100 and I'm having a ball with it.It sounds great acoustic or if you put one of those clamp-in-the-soundhole pickups in it,it sounds real "acoustic" thru an amp because the strings are about 3/4" away so you hear a lot of wood. They're not that fancy or collectable so I had no problem pulling the old tuners off and putting newer 3-on-a-side cream button Klusons on it - and facing up.Mine cleaned up real nice and this one looks like it would too. -MJ

Thanks for the tip Michael. I think I'll go after this one if I can get it for a good price. It's got some sentimental value too--it's the same guitar that my mother first played back in the 30's. We still have her guitar but it's in sad shape--many cracks and unplayable as is.
