I have two of them. I step write patterns and chain them together. You can't do linear sequences. The swing percentage will help you zero in the feels you want. I believe there is a web-site of DR5 users that is very helpful. I love the sounds, especially the finger bass, upright bass and vibs sounds.

I use one. I save my songs to a 3.5" floppy on a Peavey Midi-Filer. I then use the Midi-Filer to play my songs from. I can hold lots of songs on a single disk!

I LOVE THE DIFFERENT RHYTHMS, PROGRESSIONS, AN STYLES YOU CAN GET AND ON MINE YOU CAN COMPOSE. AFTER YOU ARE SATISFIED , YOU CAND BURN A CD, COPY IT ,EVEN RE ARRANGE IT..... GEATEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED. BETTER THAN A DRUM MACHINE OR A SEQUENCER, OH YES MINE HAS EFFECTS ALSO THAT YOU CAN CHANGE TO SUIT YOUR TASTE.....DONT BE SO STINGY,,, GET YOURSELF ONE..HAHA

JENNINGS,,,,, WHO PLAYS STEEL FOR THE BEAUTIFULL ANGELIC SOUND OF IT...

Farris, if you were a dog, you'd be dead by now. How much is it? I bought mine brand-new for $550 a piece.
(and that's in Canada, where we usually have to pay more than Americans)
