Topic: Does it matter which way the pickup goes? |

I've got my old pickup off, and ready to install my True tone. Does it matter which way the pup sits on the neck? I mean does one end have to be turned so it will be under the 10th string, the other under the 1st? ThanksTerry

| Terry, You might want to turn the pickup so that the wires are closest to the hole through the body of the guitar. Other than that, it doesn't make any difference. |

Some pickups have different length magnets in there. In that case, the shorter magnets go under the smaller strings. ALA old fender
