I have a '71 non-master volume Fender Twin - after I've been playing for ten or fifteen minutes, it makes a sudden increase in volume, probably the equivalent of turning up the volume by about one or two - this is my back up amp that I practice with at home, so this has been happening at pretty low volume. I tried cleaning the pots, that didn't correct the problem. The tubes are relatively new as well. Any thoughts? Thanks

I wouldn't say I have high confidence in this but these are the things I would do before anything else----clean the tube sockets----remove tubes and spray De-Oxit in there and insert/pull/insert tubes repeatedly. And clean all jacks the same way, spraying and 'exercising' the jack with a plug. This includes the jacks in the back---reverb, tremolo, footswitch, and speaker.
Will this help? (shrug) Can't hurt.
