On the thread for the new Steel King amp, Dave Dogett mentions the convenience of seperate cabs fo the speakers and heads.

I did this for my Twin and it's quite an improvement for this tired old body....Are there any cabinets being made for NV-400's out there??

Jack - This really makes a lot of sense. Did you build your own Twin head and speaker cabinet or purchase them?

The Twin amp was made into a head by Mark Johnson who builds MJ guitars in Rohnert park, CA. He had a shop next to my sign shop back in th mid 80's. He normally doesn't build anything but guitars.

I had the speaker cab built by a local fella.
He also doesn't build cabs.

The reason for this thread was to see if anyone is building this combination of cabs.

Peavey used to make a 15" extension cabinet with a Black Widow in it but that has been discontinued. I picked up a couple of NOS a while back and they really cut the mustard.

Jack, Duane Marrs and others here on the Forum make speaker cabinets. You could find them all by doing a seach on speaker cabinets in buy and sell.

I don't know of anyone who has off the shelf head cabinets for the Peavey Nashville amps, but Mojotone, Amp Works (?), Alessandro (http://www.alessandro-products.com/amps.html), and others will make custom head cabinets to your specifications. For that matter it is not that hard to knock together a crate type box to hold an amp chassis.
