I just got one #1545. Anybody know how old this is ? It has the small reverb pan. Sounds good, but I was suprised i didn`t have the long pan . Anybody else have the short pan? Suggestions ? Thanks |

I have the short pan my Serial # is 1244. Not sure on the year either.

I don't know of a site containing serial numbers & dates, but mine is #853 and I purchased it from Chuck Wright in 1974 or 75. Hope that helps to give you some kind of time span. |

I have two, both in the 700 series, and both have long pans. I thought they were late '70's vintage. |

I used to have a #639 that I bought new
in '78. It had a long pan. The ones I have
now are from the 80's. Both had short pans,
but I swapped one for a long pan. It basically
just adds some sustain to the reverb.

My Webb was built for me in 2002. It also has the short pan.
I really enjoy the amp.
