Does anybody out there know the neck scale for the original Fender Custom steel?

All the Fender Customs I've ever seen were 22.5" scale.

Doug, that's a beauty. I never knew that any of the 3-necks had fretboards with Roman numeral position markers.

Is it for sale?

Thanks Dave & Doug. The one in the photo is the vintage I've wanted for years. I had a triple neck but bought it too late to get in on the roman numeral fretboards.
Thanks again and all the best.

The Roman numeral fretboards were from 1949-52. The "dots and diamonds" were introduced in 1953. I've got a '53 Custom that I'm having restored now, and hopefully will look as good the one in the picture!

That one in the picture is for sale on the Elderly Instruments site, but it says it's "on hold". BTW, It's been refinished and it has no case.

I think the one at Elderly is long gone. If you go to their website the instrument is not listed.

Buddy: I have a triple custom, walnut with original tweed case and legs. The pick-ups were re-built by the late Danny Shields. I also have a four neck custom, (no, not a stringmaster, a four neck custom) with blonde finish. I`ve never seen another like it. I`m allways horsetrading. If you are interested, e-mail or call 504 866 4054. Thanks, and good luck!

Leo was probably hiding that one from me.
