I think I have the first or second 2000, Bud Harger of Texas and I bought what I think was the first two of them. Bud has long ago got rid of his. I've still got mine. Was wondering how many of them are still out there and still in service.

My best guestimate is about 150 to 175 of them were manufactured. |

I've got mine, with a PX300. Sounds great! Please see my other post in this section with a good sounding preset for you all to try out. Let me know what you think.

I've got one and think it's a great-sounding amp. Direct access to the tuner via the remote controller, stereo line outs to the mixing board, great tone with lots of useable, clean, tweakable presets for steel. Maybe a little "hissy" in the studio, but I wouldn't part with it. Too bad Peavey had to discontinue this model. |
