While I'm at it, here's an E-Harp (hey Paul, recognize this one?) that has Jason Lollar pickups and a titanium nut and bridge. The bridge is countersunk into the top of the guitar .100". Titanium is very unfriendly to work with, I 'killed' a $200 shell cutter making the bridge.

Hi Chas,

Does the Titanium bridge and nut, along with Jason's pickups make a significant change in the sound of the E-Harp?

Roger, it makes a big difference. The original pickup on these guitars is pretty thin and nondescript sounding, the Lollar pickups cover a lot of "territory", because of the ability to blend, from thin and bright to thick and rich, think 10 string Stringmaster.

I want to believe that the titanium nut and bridge make a huge difference, but I didn't A-B it with anything else. Personally I think that ti is the magic metal and is the most musical of all the metals. Keep in mind that this is also a chunk of wood that is 50 to 60 years old. It's a short scale guitar (22 3/4") and the ring and resonance of the low C string is certainly competative.
