Just got home today from the Dallas show to find the Hilton that I ordered had arrived while I was gone. I read the literature and hooked it up and away I went. What a great pedal!!! I have been using a Hilton Digital sustain for about 4 years and knew Keith built good products so I knew his volume pedal would be the best.
I tried my friend's Hilton pedal and in 10 seconds I knew I had to have one. I called Keith placed my order and fired off a check. It is one of my best investments.
I play a LeGrande with TRUETONE pickups.
which by the way are just dynamite pickups.
Jerry Wallace, one the nicest people you will ever deal with, made a good sounding guitar sound even better. Now coupled with
the Hilton pedal, I just don't know how it could get any better.
I played through a Session 500 then a Nashville 1000 and used the 3 cable hookup.
Running through the pre EQ kept my tone pretty constant through out the pedal travel. When I went to an Evans amp I lost that feature and really missed it. With the Hilton pedal I have the constant tone back. Cleaner, purer, quieter, it's just great. I had to tweek the tone a little and will probably continue to change things a little as I go. I can't wait to get on the bandstand and really work it out.
Give Keith a call. He is one nice guy to visit with. He has all your answers. I don't think you will be disappointed.
Oh, mine is the low profile. It is as low as my old low boy potted pedal. It already feels good.
