Hey y'all. I've been experimenting with this 2112 and I want to try and use the FX loop. I hooked the fx loop on the 2112 to the fx loop on my Evans FET 500 LV but I don't get any effect sounds and the volume comming out of the amp is very quiet. Is there something I need to set on the 2112 to turn on the fx loop? I've tried hooking the 2112 up the usual way, guitar, vol pedal, 2112 input, mono output on the back, and it sounds ok, but I thought I might like this unit better using it just for fx and not using the preamp. Any ideas?
Thanks
David

Ah ha! I think I figured it out. The loop on the 2112 is for plugging another effect into the 2112. I got the 2112 running through the FX loop of the Evans by running the send of the Evans to the input of the 2112 and running the output of the 2112 to the output of the 2112 to the return on the Evans. Make sense? Is anybody else using 2112 like this?
Thanks
David

The manual explains all this. You can route the signal to/from the loop in many different ways, so the loop allows you to put your external effect anywhere in the chain. Sounds like you figured it out. I sometimes run my Tube Rotosphere through the loop, but don't usually use it for anything else.
