I have just bought a Pro-fex2, I have a Ram card with the Newman settings, how do I program the settings into the unit. It works when I insert the card,but the Newman settings disappear when I remove the card. Can some kind steeler explain the procedure for me Thanks in advance

Ted...there should be a button on the unit where you can load the programs to memory. You might get a hold of Mike Brown w/Peavy. He knows these units well.......

Ted, If you need a manual for a Profex II, you can still download one from Peavey.

Ted, when the RAM cartridge with the Jeff Newman presets is inserted into the RAM cartridge slot on the frontpanel, you can then select Bank C, which displays what is on
the RAM cartridge. It can be used like this but, in order to load the presets into Bank A, use the following process;
1- Insert RAM cartridge into RAM slot.
2- Press the GLOBAL button several times until the screen reads, "SAVE USER INIT" on the top line.
3- Press the right arrow key until the blinking cursor(that is under the letter "S" in "SAVE" on the bottom line) is then located under the "L" in LOAD.
4- At this time, press the STORE/EXEC button and the screen should read "CARTRIDGE LOAD COMPLETE". The process is complete at this time and you should be able to select the A bank to use those presets. It's as simple as that.
