how far away from your amp can an external speaker be and still do a good job, thanks for your input. d-10 legrande to a hilton pedal to a rv-3 to an evans amp.

Just use a good, heavy gauge cable (12 or maybe 14). You should be able to do at least 30 to 50 feet, or the opposite side of just about any stage.
