I am wondering if anyone can tell me the differences between the BBE 462, 482, and 882. There certainly is a difference in price and I'm not sure why. Is anyone out there using these? and if so have you used any of the less expensive of these products, what were the results? Why did you upgrade, downgrade? I have heard that the 482 and 882 have the new chips in them, are the ones with the "i" after them the only ones that have the new chips? I figured I'd ask here before I spent my hard earned cash. Also, today while looking thru effects, i came across a "Peavey Programmable Effects Unit". I think the model number was 4350, or 4530, something like that. Is this the same thing as a Profex, or is it different altogether. That may seem like a stupid question, but i have never seen a Profex, but the price was really good, so again i thought I'd ask. Thanks a bunch, I'm really glad there is a forum like this available, thanks Bobbe.

Well, I have a 482 and was told that the difference between that unit and the 882 was that the 882 accepted balanced inputs as opposed to unbalanced inputs on the 482. Other than that, the units to the best of my knowledge are identical.
