MXR Analog Delay

I was cleaning out my music room and I found an old MXR delay unit that I used to use with my electric 6-string rig many (15?) years ago. I plugged it into my steel rig in place and WOW! It sounds much warmer and fuller than my Lexicon MPX-100. I haven't used it on stage yet but it sure does sound great in my music room. Anyone else use this unit or had any experience with this unit?

Yeah Mike,
Those suckers are built like a Sherman tank! I used one back when I played 6string and that unit was one dependable piece of electronics. And you're right about it being a warm/full effect. They are one of the few effects out there that still command a high price for resale, and equally in high demand. Great unit!! Never used it on PSG, but it sounds like it does the job..Cz

I used to have one years ago when I only played six-string. They sold real cheap back then. It was real solid, even had its own AC cord. A bit noisy maybe. One favorite trick I used to do was turn the knob for repeat (don´t remember the exact name) all the way up, hit a string on my guitar, twist the other knobs and get all kinds of weird psychedelic sound effects. And you know, it would just go on forever until you turned it down. That kind of stuff just won´t sound the same with a digital delay, it will fade out after a short time. Same goes for the regular delay effect. The digital may be a lot cleaner, but somewhat sterile in comparison.
Another thing I should have kept...
