Greetings everyone.
I just bought a nice little used Carter S-10
and cannot play a lick yet,but that's ok I'll learn. My son also "gave" me his old Fender Princeton 65. My question is will the amp be ok to use or does it need to be modified in some way? If so, how?
Thanks everyone
Mike

Mike..play it in good health..

Most any small amp with reverb will suit you needs for practice at home unless it is totally distored even at low volume.

Spend your time playing the Steel..forget an amp upgrade at this time. Spend your money on Pizza !

Good Luck

Mike, My favorite practise amp in the 70's was a Princeton reverb. Great sound and not too loud.

Just wanted to inform you of the new Peavey Nashville 112 that we are introducing at the upcoming Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree in Irving, Texas. The show begins March 6th and ends on March 9th. I will be demo'ing both the Nashville 112 and Nashville 1000 amplifiers in the Peavey Demo Room.

The amp features are headphone out that defeats the speaker, a PRE AMP OUT/POWER AMP IN loop, XLR balanced out for recording, a 12" speaker, 80 watts, spring reverb and patch points for your favorite effects pedals.
